To aim for the heart, target the lower portion of the 'vitals' triangle, just behind the front shoulder. On our targets, this area is clearly marked. A shot placed here ensures a quick, ethical harvest by targeting both the heart and lungs. Practicing on our vitals targets helps commit this aim point to muscle memory.

Most of our deer vital target faces and wraps are made from a long-lasting, durable polypropylene. This material is specifically chosen for its ability to withstand thousands of shots from field points without significant wear. It provides a clear image and ensures the target holds up for seasons of practice.

Yes, our polypropylene target faces are designed to be weather-resistant, making them ideal for outdoor and backyard archery ranges. While they can withstand rain and sun, storing them indoors or in a covered area when not in use for extended periods will maximize their lifespan and keep the graphics vibrant.

Our polypropylene target faces and most bag targets are designed for field points only. Using broadheads will significantly reduce the target's lifespan by cutting the fibers. For broadhead practice, we recommend using a target specifically rated for them, such as our Transformer™ Buck which features a High Roller™ Foam core.

Our target faces are designed for easy mounting. Most feature heavy-duty grommets in all four corners, allowing you to securely hang them from a frame or attach them to a suitable backstop. Some wraps, like the Yellow Jacket® MOD Pro series, use a convenient Velcro attachment system for specific target models.
